Starting salaries

Everybody that works at TOPdesk has a different back story, that is awesome in itself. But how does TOPdesk determine what salary should be linked to your level of experience? That’s where the start salaries come in. Just out of school? You’ll start at the beginning of your role’s salary. Three years of relevant experience? We add your experience (in money) to the starting salary of your role. What those starting salaries are? And to what extend is it growing? Talk to your talent lead or HR to get more information about your salary perspective. 

Performance reviews and raises

Every year you’ll have your performance review with your talent lead and a third person. Depending on your current salary, responsibilities, performance and growth, your talent lead may raise your salary by any of the following set amounts:

Milestones

Throughout your life you will reach multiple milestones. You might move out from your parents house, buy your own first car, become a parent… Those are amazing! But not necessarily the milestones we’re talking about right now. We’re talking about the milestones you’ll have in your career. At TOPdesk we determined some milestones in salary, on which you’ll have a conversation with your talent lead about your professional development.  
If your salary fits your current role, responsibilities and performance, you’ll remain at your current milestone. If your professional development is on the rise, you will be awarded a raise and you’ll start working towards the next milestone.

Payment

When can you expect those euro’s in the bank? The 20th of each month. Payslip? Same day. For people with a fixed contract, this means you receive the salary of the entire month on the 20th of that month. For people on a flexible (per hour) contract, this means you receive the salary of the previous month on the 20th of this month.
We will add your vacation pay (8,00% of your gross annual salary) to the salary of May. If you started working at TOPdesk during the calendar year, you will receive the holiday allowance in proportion to the number of months you have worked up to and including May.

Profit

Sometimes TOPdesk also pays out a profit share (internal only). This is the case if last year’s profit was above 10%. The profit-sharing arrangement applies to TOPdesk employees with a fixed or open-ended contract who do not have claim to a sales bonus.  

Sales bonus

Do you work in sales at TOPdesk? You might be part of the bonus system. What that entails? Ask your talent lead for more information about this. 

Side job salary

At TOPdesk we love to welcome enthusiastic colleagues to our teams who want to gain experience in sales, marketing, recruitment or support as a side job. You may be focused on other projects or want to combine your studies with flexible working at TOPdesk. Welcome to the team! As a flexible part-timer, you’ll earn €15.86 per hour.
