Five reasons we’re proud of our World-class Workplace label
Let’s start at the beginning: what are we talking about? World-class Workplace is a label awarded by Effectory, a platform that enables organizations to collect employee feedback. Just like we want each individual TOPdesker to maximize their personal development, we also want to improve every day as an organization. That’s why we all filled in the survey. And what did we find out? We deserve the label! Why are we so proud of it?
1. It’s cause for celebration (and we love parties).
We celebrate successes at TOPdesk: drinks every Friday, regular lavish theme parties, and once a year we go all out with our international colleagues at the TOPdesk Summer Party!
But you might wonder: what did we really do to deserve this celebration? After all, any organization that outperforms Effectory’s globally recognized benchmark for being a good employer can call itself a top employer, or in this case a World-class Workplace.
So what’s our proof? We’re enthusiastic about our jobs and our work-life balance, we’re given all the tools we need to grow, and we stand behind TOPdesk’s goals. Let’s drink to that!
2. It will help us grow and develop.
We’re doing well – but rest assured we’re far from perfect. The survey also revealed plenty of areas for improvement. So let’s keep each other on our toes! And work together to achieve an even better score next year.
At TOPdesk, we love taking the initiative. Every year, new guilds, teams and even offices are created. They all have one goal in common: making our organization – and working at TOPdesk – better and better.
3. We want to involve everyone.
Did you know that a large proportion of the new colleagues TOPdesk hires are referrals? This means that we’re happy to invite our friends and acquaintances for a job interview at TOPdesk. And we might even help them get a new job! The World-class Workplace report shows that more than half of TOPdesk’s employees promote TOPdesk as an employer to friends.

4. Now, we enjoy going to work even more.
We love our work and indicated in the survey that we’re really satisfied with our work-life balance. We feel this is extremely important. It means we go to work energized every day. We all have hobbies, a family, and we love sports and travelling: we simply need the time and energy for all that!
What’s more, TOPdesk facilitates fun ways to relax at the office. How about our busy Mario Kart room and pool table, monthly chair massages (always fully booked) and opportunities to play sports with your colleagues like Sport of the Month, bootcamp or skiing during TOPsnow
5. We love to share our pride!
Sure, World-class Workplace is ‘just’ a label, and no one really knows what it’s like to work at TOPdesk until they come and meet us. That’s why we love to show people how great it is here.
