Why does Kaiserslautern offer us so many location advantages in the first place?
Technology transfer is well developed at the business location Kaiserslautern and is constantly promoted by the association of several renowned study and research institutions.
Through the cooperation with the Technical University, we gain insights into the latest technological developments and attract well-trained junior staff. As a member of the leading network Science & Innovation Alliance Kaiserslautern (SIAK), we also benefit from a short-distance exchange of knowledge due to our regional roots.
Despite the rather rural region on the edge of the Palatinate Forest and close to the German Wine Route, Kaiserslautern has excellent connections to the highway and rail network. Connections to various highways and the proximity to several airports allow you to save time on your commute as well as to travel comfortably. What our employees also particularly appreciate, in addition to the wide range of leisure activities on offer, is the low cost of living compared to the surrounding major cities. The level of rents as well as the purchase costs for houses and apartments in the region are far below the national average.

If you want to enjoy some time off outside of Kaiserslautern, you don’t have to go far.
Along the Deutschen Weinstraße, idyllic villages, modern wine bars and rustic wine taverns invite you to enjoy Riesling, Burgundy and other wines. It stretches for 85 kilometers, from Bockenheim in the north to Schweigen in the south. Along the German Wine Route, a flowing transition between forest and vineyards creates a very special cultural landscape in the Palatinate. Castles and palaces are strung together like a string of pearls. A multitude of excellent hiking and biking trails connect everything. And good wine as well as delicious food make the enjoyment complete.
The Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve also offers countless opportunities for hiking and mountain biking, with sandstone cliffs, castles and huts for refreshments. The Donnersberg dominates the Pfälzer Bergland with its wide hills, castles and the trolley track. The Rhine plain is characterized by the ancient landscape of the Old Rhine, fertile fields and Speyer with the World Heritage Site of St. Mary’s Cathedral – the Palatinate is that diverse. So a trip is always worthwhile!
