Lead Generation Manager

TOPdesk UK is looking for a Lead Generation Manager to manage a team of part-time Lead Generators (typically students who work alongside their studies). The team is a primary contributor to TOPdesk UK’s sales pipeline and revenue. The Lead Generator (LG) team is responsible for generating leads for the business by contacting prospective customers, sending information to prospects and conducting calling projects to help boost leads.

This position presents an ideal opportunity for someone who is either looking to further develop their management skills or for someone who is looking to step into a first-time management role. The successful candidate will report into, and work in tandem with, the Internal Sales Manager to drive the business forward from a lead generating stance.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Training and developing the LG team
  • Continued post-training support and general motivation
  • Conducting bi-annual appraisals
  • Facilitating the recruitment process from interview to onboarding for both Lead Generators and assisting with recruitment for other sales roles when required
  • Lead Generation capacity and schedule/rota management
  • Maintaining the positive connection with staff from both offices
  • Absorbing and communicating sales and market updates, techniques and internal processes
  • Liaising with business units and other teams to align and collaborate throughout the sales cycle
  • Performing lead generation duties when appropriate
  • Updating and improving CRM system processes and becoming a Microsoft Dynamics superuser
  • Working with Marketing, Events and the Internal Sales Teams on pre-show and post-show campaigns

  • Commercially aware
  • Tele-sales experience
