Here at TOPdesk we have an exciting new role as the Internal Sales Manager, leading both our Business Development Executives and Senior Business Development Executives. We’re looking for someone to continue growing our team’s success with an objective of expanding our brand and customer base in UK&I.
Working as part of the Management Team, you will propel our growth by driving the team to increase new business opportunities. You will be responsible for overseeing both the Business Development Executives (who generate new business opportunities and leads with potential clients), and the Senior Business Development Executives (who work to ensure pipelines are fuelled for our Business Development Managers).
You will also work closely with the Lead Generation Manager to ensure close collaboration between our part-time Lead Generation team and the BDE/SBDE team.
The Internal Sales Manager will bring energy, focus and expertise to the role to inspire and act as a leader to their team members.
The role will require the successful candidate to train, motivate, nurture, and guide a team of enthusiastic sales individuals with a range of experience levels. We’re looking for someone with a deliberate people management style who is energised by helping their reports succeed and grow in their careers.
You will also work with professionals within multiple departments to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration. For example, you’d be collaborating with our Marketing and Events team on pre- and post-show campaigns, working with our Business Development Managers to contribute towards bids for RFPs, or assisting with recruitment processes.
Additionally you’ll have the opportunity to implement new strategies to improve our Business Development processes. It’ll be important to have a good grasp of B2B tech sales, and to keep up-to-date on market trends and the TOPdesk tool to feed back to the team.
