HR Manager

Due to the recurring success of our business, we are expanding our team and are looking for a full-time HR Manager to join either our London or Manchester office.

What are you going to do?

Our most important commodity as a business is our people, this role will be the go-to for all personnel-related considerations. The HR Manager will facilitate the continued success of team members, upskilling colleagues and ensuring we continue to be a superb choice for professionals working within the ITSM industry. They will be a person of vision who is responsible for developing our process and procedure pertaining to all aspects of HR. They will help the management team at TOPdesk UK to further professionalize our internal workings and maintain the excellent feedback we receive as an employer leading to further recognition within the industry.

The successful candidate will thoroughly review and evaluate HR practice across all areas of the business and will be committed to encouraging an inspiring, productive and enjoyable working environment. They will be conscious of the evolving needs of both UK offices in London and Manchester, committed to ensuring both locations act as one in terms of working culture and enjoy the same levels of HR support.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Development and maintenance of onboarding best practice
  • Introduction and execution of structured personal development plans (PDP’s), career plans & training programs
  • One-to-one coaching, working with team and talent leads to help broaden their respective training skillsets
  • Enhancement and implementation of learning strategies inclusive of internal/external trainers, e-learning platforms etc.
  • Continual assessment of training requirements
  • Supportive capacity for our recruitment drive to be utilized in terms of interview delivery
  • Regular communication of HR metrics to the management team
  • Promotion of working culture, delivery of workshops and cultivation of advocates
  • Bridging employee and management relations by addressing issues, grievances & opportunities
  • Experience of advising and working closely with the current management team on all HR matters
  • Knowledge of pioneering health and wellbeing strategies
  • Evolving current HR policies to ensure they remain fit-for-purpose

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant HR Management work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

  • Thorough knowledge of employment law

  • Extensive knowledge of HR processes and procedures
  • Internationally and commercially minded
  • Curious, communicative and resilient
  • University graduate
