Founded in the Netherlands, over 25 years ago by 2 students, TOPdesk provides a Service Management solution designed to help others improve their customer service both externally and internally.

Not quite sure what Service Management is? It’s the science behind every step of customer service. When you work in Service Management you help organisations manage their services, log and register problems as well as monitor and report on these issues too. From the technology they use to the processes and people involved, you digitally transform their way of working. As a member of the Lead Generation team, you will be responsible for making the initial contact with potential customers primarily via telephone, email and LinkedIn.

What are you going to do?

Your core responsibility is telesales and promoting the TOPdesk product and brand within the world of B2B. The daily tasks of Lead Generation include making outbound calls to gather information on potential customers, following up on previous communications, and sending out the TOPdesk information package outlining how our services can support customers. There is further scope within the role to represent TOPdesk at trade shows, manage projects concerning areas of personal interest, and find new ways of generating strong business leads whilst collaborating with the Business Development, Inside Sales, and Marketing teams.

Training for the Lead Generation role doesn’t end after your first couple of weeks. You’ll be constantly developing your professional skills, sales and product knowledge, and understanding of the service management field. There is the opportunity for one-on-one sessions, group workshops, and shadowing. If you’re eager to learn and broaden your prospects, we will be able to familiarise you with the ins and outs of B2B. As a student, you have other priorities when deadlines and exam season comes around, and we understand this. That’s why the Lead Generation role offers flexibility in your hours. Your Team

Our Lead Generation team is made up entirely of students and is spread between our London and Manchester branches. You’ll be working alongside a diverse group of people, studying a variety of disciplines, on a weekly basis. While your primary team is Lead Generation, you’re the core of the wider TOPdesk UK team, collaborating on projects and getting involved in team celebrations.
