What are you going to do as a Paid Advertising Marketer?

Contributing to the exponential growth of TOPdesk’s client base! One of TOPdesk’s goals is to grow substantially. From 4,000 customers to 10,000 by 2023. You understand like no other what role a Paid Advertising Marketer plays in achieving this goal. Even better: while reading this, you already know why you were able to find this vacancy so easily. 

So, what is it that you’re going to do ? You’ll work together with (international) local marketers to improve ad performances, create and implement a strong SEA strategy. Your colleagues from all branches are your customers and you’re their ‘agent’. You improve the visibility of our websites in search engines, test ad texts, landing pages, display and video ads, and analyze the search behavior of our potential customers. You set up Google Ads campaigns and continuously measure the results. You report your findings and best practices to international stakeholders within TOPdesk and the field marketers. 

As a Paid Advertising Marketer, together with your local colleagues, you’ll be improving 11 international ad accounts and experimenting with new channels. In doing so, you keep yourself updated on the latest trends and developments in paid advertising. Ready to never stop learning and developing yourself? We’ve got a spot for you!

Where will you be working?

On Team Campaigns in the International Marketing & Communications department, or IMC! At TOPdesks headquarters in Delft, you’ll work together with about 30 direct colleagues and another 50 marketeers and creatives worldwide. The global IMC department is part of the larger international marketing vertical where everyone has the same goal: build a solid marketing machine for TOPdesk.

IMC consists of several multidisciplinary scrum teams, that all have their own goals and KPIs: Team Brand Awareness, Team Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), Team Product & Customer Happiness and your Team Campaigns. Each team within IMC uses the channels best suited to achieving its goals, e.g. campaigns, social media, events, webinars and/or paid ads. Your colleagues are experts in online marketing, design, copywriting and web development.

Are you our new Paid Advertising Marketer?

  • You have a college or university degree in online marketing. 
  • You have an affinity with and are eager to learn more about Google Ads, Microsoft Ads & Adroll. 
  • You’re analytical and data-driven and love to dive into Google Analytics and Google Data Studio. 
  • You’re eager to learn new things and run experiments: you are constantly looking to improve. 
  • You have strong communication skills in English.
