Your job is to make sure all TOPdeskers know what’s going on in our organization. You’ll use your knowledge and expertise to find fresh, original ways to motivate and inspire everyone at TOPdesk. And you’ll use your excellent writing skills to communicate in the TOPdesk style and tone of voice. We use English for all our internal communications.
As Internal Communications Specialist, you’ll always keep up to date with what’s happening at TOPdesk. You’re a great listener, so you’ll be the person your colleagues can rely on to help get their message across.
Together with your team, you’ll develop a clear communications strategy and draw up annual plans. You’ll be responsible for developing individual project plans for internal communication and ensuring that they’re implemented and evaluated effectively. From internal newsletters and campaigns to presentations and quarterly updates, you’ll determine how we gather and communicate news and updates within TOPdesk. You’ll measure results and discuss them with your team and stakeholders. Are you the kind of person who likes to try out new things? Great! You’ll join Team Intercom, a brand-new team consisting of a Team Coordinator, a Domain Expert and an Event Manager. Your operational base will be our head office in Delft, where you’ll work alongside almost 500 Dutch colleagues. Although your main focus will be the Netherlands, your work will reach more than 900 TOPdeskers worldwide via our internal communication platforms.
Your team’s goal? Improving all TOPdeskers’ engagement and sense of connection with the company and each other. Knowledgeable, professional and driven – you and your team will help shape TOPdesk’s future.
You’ll work with senior stakeholders, including the board, the executive team, and the managing directors of all our offices. Using its combined expertise, your team will provide input on communication for internal projects and take an active role in giving advice. You’ll identify problems and take appropriate action to solve them.
