Are you the person who always gets asked to fix the wifi? Do you understand how networks connect and how we can map this at TOPdesk? Then we want you to be our new Infrastructure Specialist.

What are you going to do as an infrastructure specialist?

Make sure that everyone at TOPdesk is connected to the internal network! Working with the development department, you will map our hardware and wifi points, take stock of networks and prevent technical problems. You’re constantly automating processes and have clever insights into the ever-changing digital landscape. As an IT enthusiast, you quickly become familiar with new software and tools that support your work.

Your problem-solving skills will fix any hitch in no time. As an infrastructure specialist at TOPdesk, every day is different from the other. Technical incidents come your way daily, and you solve them with a smile! You look beyond the obvious and learn something new every day. Your 10 to Grow training budget will take you on courses that will make you an even brighter expert.

Where will you be working?

In Team Techy at our head office in Delft! You’ll join a friendly and somewhat nerdy team that operates internationally, as we have colleagues from Australia, Canada and Norway. Do you have an opinion about artificial intelligence? Silly question, of course, the team discusses all the possibilities and opportunities it offers for the future! Much experience and knowledge are shared, and there is room to excel in your area of expertise.

You will quickly get to know the informal, friendly culture of TOPdesk. What can you expect? Plenty of freedom, responsibility and, above all, trust. As a result, you may soon be launching new initiatives. Overcoming stumbling blocks and celebrating successes!

Are you our new infrastructure specialist?

  • You have a background in IT, infrastructure and computing.
  • You are comfortable working with Windows servers, Linux, Azure, Uniper, Office 365 and other software and tools.
  • You are an experienced problem solver.
  • You have service management skills and can work under time pressure and stress. Occasionally, you will perform an evening shift to support your colleagues during breakdowns.
  • You see mistakes as learning opportunities.
  • You look forward to working with the experienced team in the development department.
  • You love nothing more than expanding your IT knowledge.
