What will you do as a SaaS Database Specialist?
You will manage and monitor the performance of Azure SQL databases and will assist the development teams in choosing and implementing the right database platforms tailored to their specific needs, providing expert guidance throughout the process. Your role will involve analyzing database queries and recommending or making improvements to optimize performance.
You will take responsibility for the availability and development of our global SaaS platform, supporting the development teams in delivering and enhancing our products. This includes independently automating and optimizing existing processes to streamline operations. You will also select appropriate tools and leverage common scripting languages such as Bash and Python to further enhance our systems.
A crucial part of your job will involve identifying and eliminating problems to continuously improve the security and performance of our environment, ensuring our platforms remain robust and secure. Through your efforts, you will contribute significantly to the seamless operation and advancement of our services.
Where will you be working?
We are social technicians with a big love for what we do and find it important to be open to each other, which also means that we give feedback. In our team, we can say everything and we always listen to each other.
We work according to the agile principles. You’re probably familiar with them. There’s always something to do when it comes to maintenance, improvements and working smarter. So, we as a team determine what has high priority in our backlog. During our 2-week sprints, we deliver what we’ve committed to. Retrospectives keep us on our toes and show us what improvements can be made.
We expect you, and the team, to be playful with technology. Mind you: playful, but responsible. In the interview, we would like to hear what you’ve figured out and implemented tech-wise in your previous or current job.
