Have you got a strong affinity with technology? And are you able to relate technology to customer value? On top of that, do you communicate fluently across national borders? Come join TOPdesk in Delft as a Product Manager!

What will you be doing?

As a Product Manager, you deliver products that belong to the technical foundations of company goals and to the customer value we wish to deliver through our product. Within the Product Development department, you take full responsibility for the development and lifecycle of products within your portfolio. For this, you actively involve customers, partners and colleagues to discover product opportunities and make these a reality for customers. You do this together with your Scrum team.

Based on product visions, you also collaborate with other Scrum teams to identify opportunities that make these visions a reality, define success criteria, and select the options that lead to maximizing customer value. You always weigh the value of these opportunities against business needs.

We currently have need for Product Managers in different product areas. You can work on:

  • Identity and Access management: In this domain you work to provide our developers and customers the tools to manage all types of users and other identities that require access to TOPdesk
  • Integration and add-ons: creating products for the TOPdesk ecosystem and that increase the value proposition for TOPdesk. Want to know more? Have a look at our marketplace.topdesk.com to see the products created by the teams.
  • Virtual Appliance (VA) & SaaS: multiple teams responsible for delivering our TOPdesk products to 1 million operators through our On Premises (VA) & SaaS platforms.

Where will you work?

In our headquarters in Delft, you will be part of the Product Management team, which consists of Group Product Managers and Product Managers. Within this team, you are expected to act as a mentor to colleagues with less experience in the Product Manager role, particularly in areas related to product discovery and business modeling. As such, previous experience in a Product Management role is preferred.

As a Product Manager, you collaborate intensively with your Scrum team, which consists of approximately 7 people from a variety of software development backgrounds. You can manage complex matters and business questions, as you have a key role in the process of transitioning from a legacy architecture to futureproof foundations. Together with your colleagues, you have a direct influence on how hundreds of thousands of people work with our product daily!

You frequently check in with other Product Managers and the Group Product Manager of your Product Cell to align priorities and to ensure you’re all working towards the same goal.
