At TOPdesk, you can immediately join one of our development teams. You’ll learn how to work with the languages and technologies we use in our software. For example, you will build user interfaces in Vue.js that are supported by a Java backend, you’ll use Git as version control and you’ll learn how to easily deliver applications using Docker containers. In addition, colleagues from Development and other departments will teach you our software themselves, so that you can apply that knowledge in your development work.
At TOPdesk, we use the Scrum method. You’ll work in multidisciplinary teams with several developers, a functional designer and a tester. There are specific projects in which you can improve our modules or create new functionalities. As a new colleague, you can contribute to these projects quickly.
TOPdesk is an international software company. The Development department works at the head office in Delft and at our offices in Tilburg, Kaiserslautern and Budapest. You will not only work with your own team, but also with collegues from other branches.
We have an open and informal culture, we pay a lot of attention to personal development and it’s ok if you make the occasional misake. We regularly hold presentations and knowledge sharing sessions to teach each other new things. There is also room to visit conferences, such as Devoxx and Javaland. Moreover, you can allocate 10% of your time according to your own preferences, for example to learn a new framework, or to experiment with a new functionality in the product.
