You would be the Talent Lead of a diverse group of talents throughout the company. Regarding the number of employees, the Development department has a more significant load. Once you’re up and running, you will coach, manage and appraise around 15 colleagues, from development to sales. As a Talent Lead, you guide individuals’ personal growth; you help colleagues find their place in the organization, where they can develop and deploy their skills best. You promote the TOPdesk culture, such as freedom, trust and responsibility. You are there to assess the performance of your talents based on your vision, gather feedback and set expectations for them. In this process, you represent TOPdesk as an organization. Finally, you guard the process of personal things like leave, illness, salary and appraisals.
As such, a Talent Lead plays a crucial part in our company’s results, employee happiness and retention.
We do what we preach! After you feel confident and comfortable within your role, there are different options also for you to grow. You can play a role in the community of Talent Leads via leading sessions to deepen our knowledge within the profession. You can pick up projects concerning Talent Leads, like how to engage our colleagues and how to spread the culture. You can even pick up other roles, for example, being a Team Coordinator.
TOPdesk is an international Software and Consultancy company for Service Management processes. TOPdesk Magyarország Kft. is located in a modern, cozy office in the heart of Budapest, next to Fővám tér. We develop a single standardized web application. Because our application is standardized, we have a strong focus on the quality and usability of our product.
We work closely with our colleagues in TOPdesk’s Dutch and German branches. We keep daily contact via video conferences, and often we do our own exchange programs. You can visit external conferences every year, which are relevant to your work. TOPdesk also organizes its own conferences (e.g. International Development Meeting), where you have the opportunity to meet your foreign colleagues.
