You will work closely with Product Management, UX Designers and development teams to make sure the user’s needs are represented. What does this role entail? You will identify potential research areas to dive into, determine which research questions are most important, create research plans, recruit users and of course; conduct the research!

At TOPdesk, we believe UX research is important. The user’s motivations, needs and problems are the starting point for a great product and we need people like you to take the lead.
We expect you to gain insights into our user by using qualitative and quantitative methods such as interviews, usability tests, usage data and diary studies. You will be conducting research at any phase in the development cycle, from exploring problems to validating designs. You cultivate empathy and understanding by sharing customer stories and insights convincingly.
Product management will use your input for decisions regarding the roadmap, designers will base their designs on your insights and development teams will use your input to incorporate the user’s perspective into the product.
You will join one of our UX teams. We have UX teams in three different countries: The Netherlands, Germany and Hungary. The team consists of UX designers and 3 UX researchers who are eager to create user-centered software.
Where? At TOPdesk! We have an open and informal culture, we pay a lot of attention to personal development and it’s ok if you make the occasional mistake. We regularly hold presentations and knowledge sharing sessions to teach each other new things. There is also room to visit conferences, such as UXInsight. Moreover, you can allocate 10% of your time according to your own preferences, for example to explore new research methods.
