We are looking for a new User Experience Designer for our Development department. Every day, over 4,500 satisfied customers worldwide use TOPdesk software. This is only possible because both the look and feel of it are just right. Our User Experience Designers play an essential role in this.

Do you have the design skills to make interfaces pixel perfect, and are you empathic enough to see things from our users’ perspective? We are looking for a new User Experience Designer for our branch in Budapest.

What are you going to do as a User Experience Designer?

As a User Experience Designer, you will design from the user’s perspective to create solutions most fitting to their needs. You will work in multi-disciplinary Scrum teams, which means collaborating with programmers, testers, and product managers on a daily basis. In this role you would be responsible for making beautiful interfaces, using Adobe XD, and/or Figma, or the tool of your choice that is effective in communicating your design. User research, workflow mapping, and usability testing are also important parts of the designer job.
We currently have nearly twenty designers across three branches who actively work together to improve our skills and tools like personas, our design system and design reviews.

You are part of an international team. In addition to the Development department in Budapest, there are also developers in the Dutch and German offices. Due to the fact that you would collaborate with these colleagues on a regular basis, English is the department’s official language.

Are you our new User Experience Designer?

  • you have excellent skills in abstract thinking,
  • you have at least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Interaction Design or Product Design, or a different design-related degree,
  • you have at least 3 years’ work experience in UX/UI design,
  • you can independently and actively look for feedback,
  • you can take part in vigorous discussions with people who have worked for TOPdesk longer than you have, and strongly defend your own opinion.
