TOPdesk is a standardized service management software used by millions of users of our more than 4500 customers on a daily basis. In your first months at TOPdesk you’ll participate in an intensive training, which will focus on the Java Platform. Learning is going to be an important part of your job. You’ll work on several TOPdesk modules together with your team, so experienced developers will always be there to help you with your daily tasks and also to develop your coding skills.
TOPdesk is an international Software and Consultancy company for Service Management processes. TOPdesk Magyarország Kft. is located in a modern, cosy office in the heart of Budapest, next to Fővám tér. We develop a single standardized web application. Because our application is standardized, we have a strong focus on the quality and usability of our product. The code review is very important to us, and we don’t back off even when there’s need for a big restructure of an existing system.
We work closely with our fellow developers in TOPdesk’s Dutch and German branches. We keep daily contact via video conferences, and often we do our own exchange programs. Once a year, every TOPdesk developer travels to Antwerp for the Devoxx conference, which is the biggest Java conference in Europe. TOPdesk also organizes its own conferences (e.g. International Development Meeting), where you have the opportunity to meet your foreign colleagues.
