Do you have an interest in sales, marketing and generating leads? The Lead Generation Representative position is perfect for ambitious, goal-driven, university students who wish to work part-time and improve their communication, IT, and office skills.

What are you going to do?

Your core responsibility is telesales and promoting the TOPdesk product and brand within the world of B2B. The daily tasks of Lead Generation include making outbound calls to gather information on potential customers, following up on previous communications, and sending out relevant TOPdesk whitepapers outlining how our services can support customers. There is further scope within the role to manage projects concerning areas of personal interest, and find new ways of generating strong business leads whilst collaborating with the Sales, and Marketing teams.

Your team

Our Lead Generation team is made up entirely of students, primarily from Ryerson University, University of Toronto, and York University (students from other Universities are more than welcome to apply as well). You’ll be working alongside a diverse group of people, studying a variety of disciplines, on a weekly basis. While your primary team is Lead Generation, you’re the core of the wider TOPdesk Canada team, collaborating on projects and getting involved in team celebrations.

Are you our new Lead Generator?

  • Currently studying at university with at least 12+ months to go before graduation
  • Be available 2 working days a week (8:30am – 4:30pm)
  • Interested in technology
  • Have a sales fire and are customer orientated
  • Ambitious and eager to learn
  • Excellent communication and research skills
  • Creative, self-sufficient, responsible, and able to manage independent projects
  • Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset
