What are you going to do as an Account Manager?

As an account manager you are challenged to find the best answers to questions and challenges from (potential) customers together with the – still small – team of TOPdesk Australia. Our sales style is helpful and assertive, never aggressive. We see good sales skills as a combination of substantive expertise, clear communication and getting a kick out of success. Building a long-term customer relationship is central to us.

You are the first point of contact for (potential) customers and you always put the interests of the customer and TOPdesk first. You can listen well, ask the right questions and empathize with the customer’s situation. With these characteristics you quickly understand complex situations and see opportunities for growth. Don’t worry, we’ll help you get started!

Where will you be working?

In a real start-up company in the heart of Melbourne (CBD)! We have a small office space where we work together directly and pursue an open work culture! Hard work coupled with fun group outings is key. In addition, you have the freedom to take initiatives in a new market for our team. The team currently consists of 3 Dutch colleagues with varied expertise: sales, marketing and technical support.

TOPdesk is a software and consultancy company from the Netherlands. We make software for “service management” and implement that software as well. Every company you can think of, has support departments that deal with questions from within the organization or from their external customers. These questions can easily be registered and solved with TOPdesk.

Are you our new Account Manager?

  • Up to 5 years work experience
  • Genuine interest in technology and software
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and pro-active; think quickly and solve problems efficiently and effectively

  • Can work individually and in a team
